indoor shot 02 09As a more attractive alternative to modern construction materials, our hand crafted Oak Frames are all made with traditional mortice and tennon joints, representing a beautiful connection between the internal space and the outdoor environment.

From smaller single room extensions to grander entrance halls, each development is entirely bespoke, not ‘off-the-shelf’ and created to individual client requirements. We work with construction graded Green and Air dried Timber Oak Frames to clients specific requirements and provide calculations to ensure building regs approval.

Sun Rooms/Orangeries/Conservatories

Altham Oak can carry out extensions to domestic dwellings with Oak Orangeries in stunning fashion, based on impressive hand-cut oak frames. Much more aesthetically pleasing and individual than standard aluminium or PVC constructions, these Oak conservatory spaces in Lancashire are long-lasting and provide a perfect relaxing setting for families and friends to enjoy.

Swimming Pools/Gyms

Ten metre span King Post Truss for swimming poolFor rooms with a larger footprint, such as those containingswimming pools and health and fitness facilities, oak roof beams and trusses are ideal. The strength of the timbers makes for a structurally sound decision while the aromatic, natural feel of the wood is consistent with the ‘wellbeing’ ethos that the room promotes.
