This garden structure is designed for 2
3-seater benches that partly face each other and partly look out over a lake.

The benches are supported by the legs of the roof

The front part of the roof is covered with cleft oak shingles. The back will be covered with a carpet of sedum plants connecting the roof to the ground.

Where the timbers cross we have mimicked the callouses produced by grafting living branches across one another.

This view shows the internal roof detail where the supporting rafters are curved in two planes.

The Celtic knotwork carving on the front frame draws attention to the "woven" frame rather like Celtic Knotwork itself.
