Cotterdale Bridge

This bridge was made for the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority. It has a 30' span.
It fulfills their normal criteria for public access bridges, but being arched and made from a natural bend is more interesting than  their standard beam bridges.
The bridge rises and falls 15" in that span.

The posts are set perpendicular to the line of the deck.
The handrail and safety rails are bent to follow the same curvature as the deck.
This bridge is on an Alternative section of the Pennine Way. Its accessibility is suitable for such a generally rugged position.
